starting problem

Well when ever i start my rex it takes me about 3 0r 4 times to start it.It turns on sputters and then quickly dies.It gets worse every week.What could it be?Could i be i need a new starter?Also it idles really low like 2 lines under 1k RPM.

couple lines under 1k??? do you mean 800, cuz thats about where mine idles and it runs fine. when you say "spudders", do you mean it turns over but doesn't start or it starts and then dies. Be a little more specific

Yeah min did that. Like you start it and it turns over but won't start. Then you get it started and the its like put put put and quits. Mine did that too. Now for some reason it won't start at all. Sounds like we are having the same problem.

IT starts but then it dies.It still runs but it takes me a couple of times to get it running.

No, mine started doing that, then the other day it just wouldn't start at all.

Im thinking it could be one of 3 things:COIL,main relay or starter.I just dont know where the main relay is.If you fix your car DOUG le me know what i was.
