Anyone here with real HID??

I bought me HID kit for my car, I was wondering if any of you have problems with the bulbs fitting in the headlight since they are pretty long, Is there anything that will obstruct the bulb like a reflector piece? I've never looked inside my headlight.

well i dont have them but a good friend of mine has them in his 02 chevy fullsize and he fit them with no problem
but that could be diff. then in a 4th gen hatch

On weekends I usually hang out in the mesa/tempe area, i dont go to sat night car shows since my car looks ugly and primered right now..its ok if you can check out my car, but its nothing special til i get it painted

yea even tho it aint painted it is better then all the 4th gens i see
my friend has a baby blue house paint 4th gen 4 door

and my other friend has a 4th gen hatch that is red with a primered door

91EF3ZC has em on his hatchie, and it looks AMAZING!!!!! you dont even need Highbeams, so he just put some yellow ion bulbs in there and looks insane!!

theres a black metal piece inside the headlight that makes a "projector" out of the light that may potentially be in the way. but its held in by like two screws, its nothin to take em out

What brand did you get?
I'm thinking about putting in a CATZ system. I've heard good things about them.

yea but dude bright ass lights are annoying as hell at night, dry my contacts out lol

HI, my HID kit is from a 2003 Nissan Maxima(possibly Philips), I believe they are 6000K.
I will receive my HID in the mail on Friday I will post up some pictures when i get them installed

Import scene here is pretty good, but most of them are ghetto crappy accords with stickers(seems like it). I live in mesa where i will see an import every once in a while, i never go to PHX so i dunno exactly how the import scene is over there.

i believe HID bulbs are illegal in most states in cars not equipped with them from the factory, because the housings are not designed for them . i could be wrong tho, but i think i read that on SEMA's site or Sylvania's site.
