coolant in oil

New here...other than lurking.
My question is, can LIM gasket be replaced, engine flushed, and therefore saved, or once gasket fails and coolant mixes with oil is engine done? Car was running when parked and did not overheat.

Re: coolant in oil

Just replace lim and oil. If not be done flush coolant.
