2002 Camaro SS (35 anniversary edition) or 2003 WRX sti

In the end both cars are in the mid 30's after fair market adjustments, the camaro might run a bit more now seeing that they are no longer made. The extra money for the camaro can be balanced by installing a radio for the sti.

both cars would be about the same price... each has its own pros/cons... which would you rather own?

I've always been a big Camaro fan, so I would have to go with the SS. Plus I think the SS is much better looking with more power for the straights, especially the anniversary eddition.

building an econobox turned rally racer is now building a drivers car? i'm sorry but the WRXs handling abilities have been overrated on webforums so bad I had to go drive one myself, lets just say i hope the STi has ALOT of improvements.

Dontpay 35K for a camaro, waste of time, buy yourself a stripper Z28 with a few amenities and build the rest yourself, who needs a $1000 monsoon system when you can build one ten times better for that much money. forget pretty hoods, you an get ~15 lb glass ones that look better anyway, spend the 13K you save into the suspension, and engine, doubt there's an STI out there that would touch you after that.

Yes it is- don't be taken in by the piece of crap (Compared to the rest of the world) WRX that the US gets- it is so detuned and downgraded that it isn't funny- sample a JDM STi Version VI Sporthatch and be blown away- they are awesome cars to drive

Gotta go w/the Suby...the SS although very cool...is outdated and time for something new...

Now if it was a ZO6...that'd be tough...

I'd have to opt for the ZO6...if money was not an option (ie tires, gas, insurance)

Now I never said they couldnt be good cars to drive, all i'm saying is a camaro is easily as much of a drivers car, moreso being the owner typically will build it himself.
