I currently have the ZC SOHC DUAL CARB setup in my 4G4D. I would eventually like to go ZC DOHC, but keep my dual carb setup...
Does anyone here know if the DOHC head will mate to my SOHC ZC block? Or, if not, wether the inlet ports on the SOHC head and DOHC head is the same, so I could transplant the dual carb setup onto a ZC DOHC motor? Any help appreciated...

No by memory I dont think the head will fit. I am unsure however would like to know myself. I think only D series heads will fit on D series blocks.

They're both D series but I don't think they will bolt up.

You can't mate a DOHC head to a motor that came with SOHC.

O.K.
But could I mate the intake manifold from a SOHC to that of a DOHC. Are the ports the same on both?
