car won't start, need help!
Ok I went out to get in my car today to go to work and it wouldn't start. It ran fine Sun. and I didn't go anywhere yesterday, then today it won't start. The battery is fine, it tries to crank, it just won't turn over. What could it be?

most likely the main relay, notorious to go in our cars, but check your dizzy and wires and stuff too.

well you would need a spark tester for the wires to see if they are making a spark when you are cranking the motor, or pull them out one at a time and hold them close to the head of the motor, and see if you get a spark, not a safe method tho, as for the relay, i dont know how to check this, as ive never done it before, but i know countless peeps have had to replace them on here, so maybe they can help you out there.

the coil goes over time. it was weird becuase now that i look back the cranking time to startup started getting longer. and eventually it just wouldn't start at all
I'll look and see where it is |

The easiest way to find the coil is to follow the spark plug wire (the one that doesn't go to any of the four plugs) back from the distributor. The thing that wire goes to is the coil.
