Couple Pics of the Cars ive built/was building...

Heres a couple pics of some stuff i was working on/finished when i was into building models.

First one is one of my award winning trucks. Was actually a snap-tite Explorer kit, that i had fun with. First i modified the chassis to use my own custom exhaust, and added some wiring (fuel lines, brake lines, etc.) then mounted the wheels where i wanted them to lower it. Then i custom made a box (using sheet plastic) that fit over the entire rear of the truck, that had 4 "to-scale" 10" subs, 2 15" subs, and 2 amps. I also made a custom DVD monitor that sits on the dashboard. Made my own custom roll pan, and filled in the brake lights and sanded it down smooth. Also cut out my own lisence plate area which was angled.

This is a El Camino that i was building. Did some kit bashing for the frame, using half of the frame from the kit, and the back half from a prostock kit, to have the tubbed rear. Also used a motor from a Dragster kit, which i did the spark plug wiring on, but never got to finish the motor or the car.

(and yes, those are Hood pins, used the top of sewing needles )

This is a door that i made for a Impala lowrider kit i was building. The door was going to have working hinges, as well as carpeting on the door.

Some cars that I finished:
Lexus GS300 Lowrider that had opening doors & trunk (custom), two 12" subs and a Amp, and 2 Hydro Pumps, Swivel seats, 6x9 speakers, "Dayton" wheels, and custom paint job. Current Status: Broke & Lost.
96? Impala Wagon Lowrider, 2 15" subs, 3 Amps, 4 Hydro pumps, "Dayton Wheels", Custom interior (carpeted). Status: Sold for $50
94 Mustang GT Prostock.. custom chassis using bent sheet plastic, and plastic box tubing for the chassis. Custom cage, seats from 2 prostock kits, fully wired motor/drivline, custom suspension (using actual springs), etc. Status: Sold for $35

and a whole bunch of other cars that i never got around to finishing. Maybe one day ill pick up the tools and start building them again, but having more fun building the real cars right now

Absolutely Amazing!
Wonder what that exploror would be like with the bass turned all the way up?
Not sure if it would be able to drive a straight line.
