premium fuel for supercharger?

Hello,
I've just bought a 2001 truck with the supercharger. Do I need to use premium gas? Thanks.

From what I've read, yes. Many people have pinging problems under acceleration and this is supposed to help. I've seen ICU controllers advertised with the TRD supercharger to change the fuel mixture for the added air provided by your supercharger.

yes, premium 91 only. 92 or 93 would be a +, but may not be easily attainable.
