New tires

Hey everyone. I'm looking for a very good all-terrain tire to put on my 2003 Silverado single cab, 8-foot bed 4x4 W/T. I do a lot of off-road and highway driving for my job, and put about 25,000-30,000 miles a year on my truck (I currently have 206,000 miles on it). I normally get about 40,000 miles out of a set of tires, and I rotate them every 5,000 miles, and get them re-balanced every 10,000 miles to get the longevity out of the tire. I will probably get another 3 or 4 months out of my current tires (General Grabbers, which are excellent tires) before they will need to be replaced.

I need a good tire that has excellent off-road capability, and are at least somewhat quiet on the highway, and will last me around 50,000-60,000 miles before having to replace them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Price does not matter to me. I want good tires that will give me the biggest bang for my buck, and will last a good while.

Thanks!!

Re: New tires

3 choices come to mind. BF Goodrich, Toyo, Nitto all make aggressive AT tires. I have had BF's. They have long life but pick up rocks frequently. I now have Toyo Open Country. I really like this tire but can't contest to the life yet. I have both good and bad about Nitto's. On a side note, no AT tire I've found will stay cleaned out as well as a mud tire.
