Harley Ford Pickup Firing Order?
Ok folks.
I have just had a call from a friend who is just starting a build on the Revell Harley Davidson Ford Pickup and Trailer set and he wants to have a go at detailing the engine. His question to me was what is the correct firing order and did I know where he could look for it on the net. I had a link to a site in the US that showed all the different firing orders but do you think I can find it - no sirree. Hoping someone can give me the answer and I will pass it on. I am trying to get him to post some pics of his detailed bike kits but hes a bit shy. Thanks in advance Tony |

If it wasn't 9.45 PM at the moment and they were available through Ford in Australia it would be a viable suggestion.
May have to try some of the import dealers here tomorrow. Some of them sell the American pickups - they may be able to help. Thanks anyway. |

Especially on a truck that uses coil on plug ignition.
Your friend will be hard pressed on finding the firing order for the truck. Ford started using the modular (overhead cam) engines in 1997 which do not use distributors. Two years later the modular engine started using coil on plug ignition...so it has no plug wires.

Thank you Bullittstang. At last an honest answer. I will pass this info on to mark. As for why - to each there own I guess and it is hard to know what a lot of the American vehicles have in them as we don't get to see a lot of variety in Australia unless specially imported.
