Made my own custom armrest....
i made my own armrest it looks kinda good but it kinda look weird too.......its boxy and doesnt fit in i dont think but hey who cares as long as it holds a drink and my arm can rest on it....lol.....heres sum pics it only took me like 2 hours to make it was mostly the carpet that took the longest.....

pretty cool, you shoulda done the top piece with something softer, like foam padding and vinyl or another fabric, you might get rug burn on your elbows, and then how will you explain that to the wife?

my arms are so damn long that i never take my right elbow off the armrest, not even when i shift into 5th. so i guess thats why the first thing that popped into my head was comfort. the stock fabric on the GSR console i have sucked ass, thats why its red suede now. check my interior pics for details

not bad! but isnt it hard to grab your drink while driving? that looks like kind of an awkward place.
i have a OEM civic armrest. I am a midget  so i can't even use the damn thing.

it looks good, but why dont you use plexi glass, heat it up and mold it, cut it attach the peices then fibreglass, sand and paint, mint, well thats how us minitruckers do it, have you ever seen some of the f-ed up designs minitruckers come up with for the interiors, i have my dash and consol molded together in my truck, well almost done
