Re: Going Green?

The main problem with Dexcool has been identified as being owners not maintaining the proper coolant level. In time coolant evaporates from the overflow reservoir allowing the cooling system to draw air in when it eventually runs dry. Dexcool does not like air and turns to sludge when air is present. If the cooling system is maintained to never allow the reservoir to run dry the coolant will last far longer than the green stuff and do a better job at keeping the cooling system clean and rust free as it was engineered to do.

I agree. Stay with the red and keep it fresh according to the owner's manual.
