Complete! 1/12 Tamiya Williams FW14b

And here we are, complete! This has been my longest project, something close to 800 hours of work. It was a very complex and fun build, involving a lot of methods and things I hadn't tried before. A great kit and one that BEGS to be detailed. Just sooooo many opportunities to add details here and there.

As for the model, all of the nose detail is scratchbuilt, as the kit detail is rudimentary at best. The RB Motion side pod kit is just fabulous to say the least. It really adds a lot to the model. All four dampers are turned (by me), as well as the rear damper reservoirs. Please, if you have questions, feel free to ask me! Enjoy the pics!

A beautiful piece of art Daniel! I've been inspired enough to get my old kit out of the attic and dust it down!

I lack the words to express my awe about your detail-work!
Don't ever put the covers on!

A sickening display of meticulous skill and planning. I will now destroy everything I ever built...except my Cobra.

Daniel this has probably been asked before, but what company and part number did you use for the front of the tub by the front suspension electrics and plumbing? and also the lower airbox by the velocity stacks
Thanks Daniel

That would be Daniel's Blood, Sweat and Tears Co. parts. All are scratchbuilt except for the connectors, which are Top Studio. The dampers are turned (by me) in brass. I used detail photos to try and get it as accurate as possible.

One of the finest 1/12th Williams FW14B's I've ever seen. Every part is perfect, like lots of incredibly detailed smaller models built into one, stunning..!!

I'm sorry Daniel - I was aware of that - I meant the carbon fiber decal used in those locations
Thanks

Those are KA Models' CF type A. There are only two types, one plain weave and one twill this was the twill (type A). They are really great decals.

I was just kidding around about it. No harm, no foul.

Nice work, looks even better in person

Were you the one that passed me on 475 on Sat. after the show in a blue/gray Speed3 w/black wheels and KY tags? I was in a white Protege5. I saw the Speed3 at the show.
