Looking to find out where my motor came from.
I have a Chevy 350 motor. I believe it is a Gen I and made in Flint in 1974. The casting is V083CMJ but it should have another number on it, Any help?

Look at the numbers on the r/s front of the block on that machined flat area at the deck.
