Car choice ,very indecisive

Hi hope I am posting this in the write part ,if not my apologise ,I am buying a new car at Christmas and I can't decide which one to go for , I was thinking either bmw e46 or audi a4 convertibles as I think the prices would drop in the winter especially bmw with rear wheel drive . As I have been looking I come across the e92 320i coupe .I love the look of the car .and if I got a base model could just afford it .But I have read loads of terrible reviews on the car .ie coil packs and fuel issues ,timing chains , Also I was looking at the diesels but I only do 30 mile round trip so unsure if a ordeal would be worth it ?? As the tax is a lot lower and mpg a lot better with still 0-60 8 seconds ,any advice on what car would they go for and why woul be much appreciated , I already have a zafira b as the family car so this would be a second car ,so any company's that offer mirror no claims would be a great help ,thanks again phill
