Rally car weathering tutorial??

I have three rally car kits that I am in the process of building and would like to weather them. Does anyone have a link to a tutorial of any sort for doing this?

Thanks!!

That's probably not the answer you're waiting for but I think that the best tutorial possible is to Watch pics of the real cars and event you intend to depict especially if your main goal is accuracy.
Depending on the weathering to do (snow, mud, dust...) there are several stuff and materials to use.

Re: Rally car weathering tutorial??

I have been all over youtube, plenty of weathering tutorials but mostly for military and trains. Nothing for rally cars which I find extremely odd.

Re: Rally car weathering tutorial??

If your looking for technique it's there no matter whats being weathered,if you want rally car specific then I agree with ianc911 and rallymaster.
Also check other modeling sites and some model detailing magazines and books...

Re: Rally car weathering tutorial??

I would back up what Phil said. There are a lot of pics & videos on the web of rally cars across various events - mostly the high profile ones. Having said that, there's also plenty of stuff on some of the events that used to be run before the WRC as we now know it, came into being.
