2002 PT Cruiser Limited Codes: P0700 & P0743

What corrective action can eliminate the following 2 codes: P0700 Transaxle Control System Malfunction and P0743 Open or Shorted Condition detected in torque converter clutch solenoid control circuit?

There is no specific time that the light comes on. It has come on just sitting in the driveway, going 60mph down the highway, and going 45 down the back roads.

The transmission seems to operate completely normal.

Sounds like a bad solenoid pack, or its going to go bad soon
but before you replace it check the computer module and cables, this is the left fender
