Unhappy Longblock or shortblock?

guys whats the difference between longblocks and shortblocks?

Longblocks are full motors, top & bottom

Shortblock is just the bottom end.

Long Blocks come with head, block and NO TRANS


Short blocks come with the bottom end with NO HEAD OR TRANS

Thanks A lot guys. I didn't think it was that simple. I thought it had something to do with the connecting rods. And all this time I couldn't figure it out.
