Re: Is this available anyhow?

I have the Vantage street car in diecast, I think it was a Maisto or Motomax. You can get the decals from Patto's Place but they are designed for a slot car and may not fight the diecast but they might be worth a look at.

Re: Is this available anyhow?

Only way to make it is getting the Model Factory Hiro DBR9 and scratch building the rest. Decals would have to be printed by a company. Beautiful Aston BTW.

Re: Is this available anyhow?

Thank to all you guys!

Doubt: is the DBS much different than the Vantage???? I mean...the rear, the body, etc. It is clear that both are very alike.. they share the same design, etc.
But at the end, are they really the same car with only a few differences Or not?... Despite they are very similar, they have different wheelbase, different width, etc???

At the first, I tought use Tamiya´s AM DBS as a donor. But now I´m not sure...

Re: Is this available anyhow?

The bodies share similar "styling" but they are quite different, in both dimensions and specific design, meaning they would not share any body parts between them

You could use a cheap die-cast, but you'd have to do some significant body modifications to it, the fenders flares, and lower body, plus the wheels and tires being different, and the die-cast will have a production interior, so it would need substantial modification to look like the race car, plus roll cage ....lots of work!

Re: Is this available anyhow?

Just be patient. Eventually, if there's not a static kit coming out, there will most likely be a slot body ( kit ) at some point. To many versions already to pass it up.

Re: Is this available anyhow?

Nearest option is the Airfix 1/32 DBR9 kit, and Patto's decal set.
I'm currently building this car myself.

Roy.
