Tamiya Honda NSX

Hi guys I was just wondering if the this kit comes with the decals to make it an Acura NSX and does it also come with the option to make it left hand drive like in the states?


I know Tamiya came out with an Acura boxed NSX kit. I've heard that there are no differences physically except that the Acura kit comes with only the decals and left hand steering wheel to make it the American version only? Is this correct?

To be clear I want to make an Acura NSX with left hand drive. Would either version give me the ability to do this? The reason I ask is because for whatever reason it looks like the silver NSX is an older version so I'm just concerned if there are any dramatic differences in the kits.

Well I never had nsx yet. But if you got Honda nsx, you could cut the dash board and switch side. I seen people done that before

1) the Honda NSX comes with the LHD dash and Acura steering wheel. See http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10002186

2) It does not come with decals to make it an Acura NSX. You can get scripts from an aftermarket company (A+ Club: http://www.aclub-models.com/metal/MS004-CRZ-NSX.jpg) to make it an Acura, but you'll be missing the front and rear side bumper reflectors that are depicted on the Acura's decal sheet.

3) You'll need to remove the foglamps in the front bumper to make it an Acura.

4) Acura versions are easy to come by on eBay.

I have just checked my Honda NSX kit, it has both the Honda and Acura decals for the front badge, the tail light insert and the wheels.

And the side marker decals for the front and rear bumper?
So I should be fine with either kit right? That's what I'm getting at least. Thanks so much for the help guys.

Yep, everything is there in the Honda kit to build the Acura version.

Sure is. LHD and RHD dash and center consoles, and all the decals, including the ACURA decals for the center caps, decals for the reflectors, and even two decals for the two different instrument clusters. If for some reason you get a kit that does not have this decal sheet, I'll send you one.
