2001 Stalls On StartUp

Hello everyone, I currently have a 2001 Grand Marquis LS. It has 61,551 miles on the car and im having and issues with it stalling.... Here is the jist of it. I start my car and its just stalls some times will stay running but when it does it runs like crap (like putters) and the vehicle is running rich. I can keep it running by 2 footing it but as soon as i let all the way off the gas it either stalls or starts puttering. Any suggestions on what it could be? Sorry im really car stupid and i need help because i have to manage a store and its affecting my job. Also do not want to pya $85 per hr/ for some one to look at it and "try" to fix it...
