Damn alarm

Ok...i have a alarm with a mind of its own. It makes sound only then when it likes to...when i put my alarm on and set it of sometimes the lights only flash and no sound i checkt the wires and it looks ok ....any ideas

I'd call up the company and find out what shops they recommend in the area, and then take it there and have them look at it. Or just take it to a shop, as long as they know what they are doing, lol.

you may want to check the ground of the siren. IF it is dei check the brown wire at the brain for a solid connection. If everything checks out ok then the brain may have internal probs which will need checked and fixed at the company.

How hard is it and how much should it cost to add a trunk pin? I sed to have one, but after I got rear-ended...it nerver got put back or the body shop cut it...cuz it's not there. I'd like to put one back again, but I am not sure what prices are reasonable and what are "gouging?" Thanx

had a friend who had problems with a sensitive alarm that would go off if you just touched the damn thing while working under the hood. want to trade? lol.
