Aoshima S13 Silvia

Hi all
This is the Jigoro Jigorou version with the addition of the engine from the stock kit. The only changes I made were the wheels which are WedsSport SA-70'S deepened with trim rings from a set of Aoshima BBS wheels and c/f decal on the hood. Color is Peugeot Blaze Yellow Metallic from Zero Paints.

Wow... Awesome color. I love the ride height and the detailed paint job in the engine compartment. Looks really good. Banging job!!!

nice detail in the engine bay
how did you get the lettering so clear on the rocker cover? ive tried before with difficulty ! mine didnt turn out that good

Thanks
After a coat of silver I applied Bare Metal Foil over the lettering and then sprayed clear red over the top. Once the clear red has dried you can then scrape away the paint away from the lettering using a toothpick and/or cloth to reveal the BMF underneath.

thats a great idea, what about the black lettering is that just painted afterwards?

The black "Turbo Intercooler" lettering is a decal that comes with the kit.
