Check for a broken wire(s) in the door wiring between the drivers door and the body ("A")pillar.

Re: 02 grand prix gt window problem

No, it's not possible for all three windows to fail at the same time...

The lockout feature on the master switch, only inhibits use of the windows at the other three switches, it does not affect the master switch...by that I mean, if you hit the lockout switch on the master, the RR window will not work at the RR switch....however, it will work at the master switch....

So, what I would do is start diagnosis, at one window, the RF...remove the switch from the door.....get a test light....ground it......

Five wires in the harness to the switch:

"A" Brown
"D" Lt Blue
"E" Dk Blue
"F" Dk Blue
"H" Tan

Tests are done with the key "on"...lockout "off"...

A. Backprobe terminal F of switch...test light should light...if it doesn't hit your lockout switch...if it still doesn't light, there is a problem with that circuit....if this fails, don't worry, it's not your main problem.....

B. With testlight still grounded, backprobe terminal D....on master switch, press RF UP...test light should light......if no, bad master or open wire....

C. backprobe terminal H...on master sw, press RF down, should light....if it doesn't, bad master or open wire...

D. Use your test light and back probe terminals H and D.....press mast RF down...should light....press master RF up, should light......

If test B and C are failures, since you replaced the master, the circuit that failed is open....

If B and C pass the test, but fail either the up or down test in D, it's a bad master switch(was this new or used?)....Power and ground to the master switch have to be ok, because the Driver's window works...
