The kit
The body's were really badley worped, and so were the hoods too. The chassis was to long so it did not fit properly without some gleu and a lot of clamping. Overall the rest of the parts fit really well no problem. But one thing is sure, I am not going to build another of these kits..........

Re: Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Duo Build

Nice work! I've fought two of these myself...I feel your pain. Though it's worth it in the long run. Even knowing the problems from my first build, I still had issues on the second.

But amazingly enough, the bodies on my two were not warped! They were first-generation Revell AG bodies, how my hoods had no warp is beyond me. I have yet to buy any other front engine Revell AG Ferrari and not have a warped hood. California, GTO, Aperta, 599 GTB...all warped. At least the warp is easy to remove through creative bending

I was just looking at my Aperta and GTO tonight - no hood warpage which is very surprising.

Nice work! You finished these fast!

Like them both, but if I had to choose one it'd be the white one
