Was gonna regrease under the coils. I removed the top one and no grease was there at all. Now i see the coils are mounted to a plate which looked like it had some there. So where does the grease go?

Re: 99 Regal coil question
There is no need to apply any thermal compound (usually white in color) or dielectric grease (clear grease) between the ICM and the coils. It would do more harm than good there IMO. If anything, some thermal compound may need to be applied to the underside of the ICM, but I'm not sure if that is even necessary.
