ran my car
i finnaly got some miles on my moter and took it to the track. here is what happend. i went 15.3 at 90mph
i couldnt figure out what was up i would dump at 2000 (stock 13 inch rims) and smoke the tires and spin into second. so saturday i decided to check the compression and it was 150 . now the care doesnt smoke at all!@!!! not even one bit!! finally we desided to remove my adjustable cam gears and redo the cam timming . the hypothesis is that the valves were staying open on the compression stroke. Because the cam gears are jacked up. So needless to say we changed the timming and gears now i have 210 and stock is 199. But i still think i need to tune it more because my distr is all the way retart and my ign timming is 10 degress adv. so that tells me the intake cam is off. But now in first at about 15mph i cam puch it and it will break tires like nothing. i will video it at the track next time and post

Where'd you go dude? MIR ? - It is nice having a track not too far away.
15.3 with the timing screwed up isn't bad at all...now that you have it improved you might break into the 14's. Keep working on it dude.

its an ls tranny. it is a deffinite low 14 on drag radials because the cylinder psi increased from 150 to 210 thats 60 psi and i was running 15.3 at 150 spinning of the line. i cant wait to go to the track friday(mir)
my friend has a set of drag radials plus rim already mounted for 150. they have lots of tread

teir is getting to be too many people their. use to be able to get 9 runs in now i am lucky to get 4. but you have to come up

Its definatley a 14 sec without drag radials. Especially with your set up.

i was about to kill everything in sight. and everone was aking me what i ran and all i could think was "i have a 15 second hybrid and i have close to 4 grand in the motor . But yes it is wright now
