Probably to do with who is letting them make kits of their cars without exorbitant licencing fees.

Aoshima did a great release announcement which is on their Facebook page, it also gives away the depth of their partnership with Lambo.

A little while ago, LB Works spilled the beans by announcing that their Lambo would be released as a plastic model from Aoshima next year, but it wasn't clear whether it'd be the Murcielago or Aventador. Looks like the stock SV this October, and LB wide body next year.
Another thing about the FB video is that there's no need to go to Italy in July 2013 to study the existing Lambo since there are plenty in Japan. So the trip must be for something else, and I have a higher hope either the Veneno and the Gallardo successor.

Aoshima's new Murcielago kit doesn't seem to have full engine details, but still looks better than Fujimi. Aoshima also got the line from the front bumper to the headlight washer cover right.

italy hosted the greatest lambo event meeting in 2013. cars coming from allover the world They had a great sunny fullfilling food and wine session in one of the nicest part of the country.Also some LB performance dream cars were here. People as usual makes a GREAT fiesta to such cars.

I think the engeneers from aoshima are fighting to come here .. not only for working reason.

It's always the same. I've just bought the Fujimi kit a few weeks ago and now Aoshima announces possibly a better kit. Oh well.

Personally, I cant wait, this is my dreamcar & had been considering the Hobby Design 670SV Full resin kit @ $300USD+. HD Also sell the full engine as a seperate kit if you want a full engine...

I have a friend on the inside at Aoshima & he assures me there are 2 ( two ) versions of the SV coming out... Also BOTH will have FULL engine detail... Go to their F/Book page & you'll see all the prototype pics :-)

He has also told me after October they will be producing/releasing more super cars nearly every month after. Their production team is running 24/7 & they have a lot on their production plate....

any chanche for the new porsche 918?? ..or even better..LA ferrari.Last aoshima models have quality even better than tamiya models.

Have to agree, Aoshima is certainly at the top of the game lately. Quality and detail have been superb. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us!
