Separate the outer tie rod and ball joint from the knuckle. Remove the axle nut and separate the outer joint from the hub. May need to remove a brake line mount bolt from the body to allow for movement. Use a prybar to separate the axle from the trans. Pull the strut/knuckle assy out of the way and remove the axle shaft.
