17's will fit and fill your wheel well but w/out a drop will lift a bit.

Thumbs up

17 inch wheels with 40 series tires will not change the diameter of the stock rim and tire

That is correct...Actually, the 17's w/ 40 series tires will be .23 inches bigger than your stock rim and stock tire...less than a 1/4 of an inch which doesnt affect the speedometer...Holla if you need any help man

Later
Mike

Didn't they also come with 14's? When I bought my 94' LS it had little old 14ers on it. I'm not too sure I agree with some of you. The only cars I've seen that went from 14, or 15's all the way up to 17's, definatly were raised. My step bro's civic rose like an inch.

Side note: Don't get 17's if you don't plan on lowering it
Side note2: Don't get 17's if you plan on lowering it, get 16" so you won't have the chance of running into problems

Just my opinion.

Yes they did come with 14 inch rims with a tire that had about a 4-5 inch side wall...With a 40 series tire on a 17 inch rim, you replacing that stock sidewall with more rim and a smaller tire...

And it will hold up to a 2.5 drop without scrubbing...Call any tire shop and ask what the stock tire was...We measured before i put on my 17's...Im sure on this one

ok fuk 17, what about 16" .. cuz 17 seems to be cutting it too close..

so i might just use 16" with 40 series tires
