Codes P0442 & P0456 Simply Solution
2003 1500 5.7L. Found this fix on another dodge forum. Two hoses at charcoal canister located under drivers side just rear of the drivers seat. Check the two visible hoses. Mine was split at one end. Trimmed it off, cleared the check engine light. Has not returned. The hoses are cheap from a dealer if you need to replace.

I stoled a 2002 dodge ram with a Myers plow one with side tilt. it is in excellent shape 20 in. tires and rims but has a few bugs. One was $350 estimate to repair canister that kept the service engine light on. Crawled under today and visible split in hose was right where you said it would be. black tape fixed it. I'll get a new hose Monday. Paid $5000 for it. did I mention it has brand new tires.
