turbo actuator humming or buzzing

Hi all,

I just had (tonight) a refurbished mitsubishi turbo installed for a 2005 320d e90 model by my mechanic.

Rebuilt by a reputable man (Tom Cooney Portlaoise).

When I turn off the car, I can hear a hum/buzz from the actuator.

If I leave the key in the car, it will hum for 10 or more minutes before turbo actuator cuts out.

If I take the key out and lock the car and wait until she stops, as soon as I unlock the car the turbo actuator hums again but only for about 5 mins before cutting out.

If I open the bonnet, the actuator will hum. Once it stops again after 5 mins, I can make it start again by pressing the button on right hand side as you look into the engine that is pressed down when the bonnet is down.

Any ideas?
