Question AC wont switch

Hello all. Awhile back i posted a question about how my AC/Heat wont switch from the floor. Well i have discovered that it is a broken door. All the actuators are vacuum powered and the blend door is driven by motor. No matter what I set the mode to, it always blows on the floor. Is there any way that I could fix it, without pulling the dash, or is there a way to bypass it, so that I can still be able to switch to defrost, vents, etc, because the floor vents aren't all that important to me anyway. Or maybe a way to pull the dash? I would like to stay away from that. I just got the AC working today, and would like to get this fixed if at all possible. It is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.

Re: AC wont switch

Before I move this post, have you tried the Jeep Cherokee forum? That forum will likely have help more specific to your model than what you'll find here.

Yeah I have looked, but I didn't know if that would fix the problem...
