Revell Viper SRT10 ACR

Hello fellow Modelers! I have not built a model in several years and I am excited to start building again.
My friend gave me a red diecast model that he wanted me to paint Snakeskin Green to match his 1:1 Viper:

I thought sure, it would be simple! Then I realized it might be easier just to start fresh using a plastic kit so I bought him a Revell 1/25 ACR and went to work
Here is the 1:1. It is pretty much stock with the exception of tow hooks for the track...

My goal was to build it quickly but still capture the 1:1 details as best as I could.

For the engine I used fabric red on the valve covers and added various breather hoses and a dipstick tube:

Here is the 1:1 motor:

I painted the ignition covers green:

The body got a basecoat of Snakeskin. I will mask then add the black and clearcoat:

Here are the brakes, I made some slices to simulate the slotted Stoptech rotors:

Re: Revell Viper SRT10 ACR

Looks good. Are you using a silver primer or is that just a base for a candy color
