Pulse generators
I recently did an engine swap on m 94 3000gt sl. Its an auto. Here are the issues I am having. The od light is not working when I hit it. I know that could be simple as a blown bulb. The car is staying in 3rd, "limp mode". It does not change to L, 2, just stays in 3rd. Ok, there are 2 plugs under the air intake box. I am fairly certain these are, at least one, the pulse generator plugs. My question is, I can not figure out which way they go in, does anyone have pics they could provide me with or a wire to wire diagram. The plugs themselves are broken and I am going to solder them to prevent further damage. Help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Pulse generators
That is a common issue as the plugs are the same and right by each other. Only way to check is look at a diagram and match colors or try one way then swap them. It will
Not damage anything to swap them, I have done it a few times. You swapped just the engine or the trans to? The trans itself must be matched to its corresponding tcu or the solenoids will not work properly.

Re: Pulse generators
Another simple check is the fuse. Should be fuse 7 in the underdash fuse box. Same thing happened to my cousin.
