Power steering LOW pressure return hose
I have a leak in the PS low pressure hose can I just cut the bad piece out and put a piece of hose and double clamps or does this side have pressure too. I did see that the hose has regular clamps on it all the way to the reservoir.

You should be ok with bulk hose on the return side only, as long as it is compatible to the fluid and is routed so that there are no kinks in the hose. |

Re: Power steering LOW pressure return hose
When my low pressure hose leaked, it turned out to be a bad clamp. The spring clamps are marginal for that thick hose. Use screw clamps if that turns out to be the problem.
