1990 Mustang LX WIP
Its been almost two years since ive messed with this stuff but here goes. I have the newly issued 90 Mustang LX notch by revell..
![]() The color is Tamiya British Racing green. I topped it off with several coats of pearl clear to try and imitate Fords Dark Highland Green. ![]() I couldnt leave the motor enough alone.. so a Vortec supercharger from a Saleen S351 found its way in there. ![]() Test fitting it to make sure it clears the hood.. ![]() Got the interior and such painted.. ![]() ![]() Got the cooling system almost worked out. Aluminum radiator with dual (pusher/puller) electric fans.

That's looking really good! Your two year layoff obviously didn't hurt.

Re: 1990 Mustang LX WIP
Thanks for the compliments. Ive gotten the rear suspension all put together this evening. I ran into a snag with the front end. The pump (A/C compressor possibly? Hard to tell with the undetailed mold) underneath the supercharger hinders the use of the front sway bar. Ive already had to trim the mounting tab to get the pump/compressor to fit. Same issue I had on my 1:1 fox body. The supercharger relocates the alternator below the blower putting it right against the sway bar. Ive actually had a wire arc on the sway bar and almost cause a fire lol.
And i need to create an air intake to the blower and wire up the mass air meter before I marry the chassis and interior bucket together. A bit of trimming to the fenderwell will be necessary to fit the blower and intake pipe.
