Re: Autel AULDS708 Automotive Diagnostic and Analysis System

I bought a DS708 almost 2 years ago to replace my OTC Genisys. It was a situation where I was going to need to update my Genisys to be compatible with my new car. After some research I learned I could get a new DS708 for less than it was going to cost to update my Genisys, AND I would have more coverage with the DS708.

I have not regretted the purchase yet, and sold the Genisys after a few months with the DS708. I really have not encountered anything that I could do on the Genisys but cannot do on the DS708. Quite the contrary, the DS708 has several features that would cost a lot extra on the Genisys.

Some of the English isn't quite perfect on the DS, and I wish it had a battery so I could keep it powered up when moving from the vehicle to the house, etc. The touchscreen also isn't as accurate as a modern smart phone, but for me those are minor issues.

I should add that I do not use the DS708 for my profession, so I'm not a good one to speak to long term reliability.
