Exclamation How about a Le mans Group Build?

Looking at the great success of our GB about the 911's 50th anniversary , I noted now this year is also the 90th birthday of the most important, legendary and famous engurance race of the world.
For anybody as me visiting La Sarthe, the palce is simply magic.Have been there several times, and everytime it was a real pleasure (excluding the WC of the camping usually out of service after 3 hours since opening..LOL)

How about a group build in the same way of the carrera one about the 24 hours of le mans?

maybe this video can give ispiration...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...v=PIoJNuCbsKg#!

group build open to all model cars racing now and in the past in this incredible palce, including the le mans classic ones.all scales admitted.there are too many subjects suitable. including american Nascar.

Lets think about it...the race is this sunday !

This is what I have been waiting for a long time, very happy to see it come, but deadline is crucial for very slow builders like me.

Re: How about a Le mans Group Build?

think the rules can be as for the porsche one. Very few rules, to avoid misunderstandings and modellers remaining outside of this.I want to involve as much people as I can.
being a group build...I think there is no needing for any deadline. In my dream this GB can go on for years achieving as many models possible, also from guys joining AF in the future.
Nothing to win here. Just a pleasure to be part of an incredibly nice collection useful for all members and visitors of the forum.

Also here my target will be a long, nice sweet gallery of models telling the history of this incredibly nice race.
As well as for porsches, can be nice to place into the gallery also the many models already seen here, with a quick link to the wip or completed gallery. It is possible also to double some models already seen in porsch section, being porsche one of the main actors of the french race.Of course this time can be much more interesting to see the "strange ones"...often real modelling challenge to make.

Lets seen how many guys are interested in this for the nest days...I think will be another cool GB and thanks god Le mans cars are some of the most reproduced in scales 24 and 43.

Re: How about a Le mans Group Build?

Would love to jump in, but I'll be in a muddy tent all weekend (at Le Mans...LOL!).

Seriously though, if it is a long duration build I'd be up for it, as most of my stuff is LM esque. It will be many months before I can get properly back into a project though!
