what is this on my visor?

is it a factory option or something aftermarket? I can't tell where the cord goes, but the previous owner said he thought it was from the factory. It's in a 99 k1500

Re: what is this on my visor?

Looks like it could be a microphone for an bluetooth-enabled radio, but was not a factory option in '99. Is there an aftermarket radio installed?

I bought the truck with the factory cd player installed. As far as I know that's what he had in it when he drove it (he still had his cb radio and other things installed when I went to look at the truck) ----might have something to do with a CB as well. I'll go follow the wire and see where it leads sometime.

Weird place for a sat antenna...due to needs open sky to get the signal

It's a microphone. Def follow the wire.
