No one should waste time with a trip to McLaren Geneva to see this F1 - the car is not there despite what the wording of their Facebook post might imply. Sorry if anyone already had their bags packed. Hopefully we will start seeing more of this one soon in other places.

It is quite lovely, isn't it?

Spoke to someone very early this morning who has a decent amount of experience with these cars and he said that #048 is just perfect. I don't know if that's a product of its assumed lack of use or perhaps being a later production car it was just screwed together a little better. Shame this car didn't go to auction - I would have loved to see a bidding war for it.

Remember the Eurosport vid clips way back when #048 was being built, loved it then and still do now, any blue F1 does it for me, looks mint, any info on its mileage.

XP4 is the 'Bright Electric Blue' car, but it actually started life as "International Grey". This one is listed as being painted "Brilliant Metallic Blue".

Le Man - I believe this one has right around 10,000 kms but will have to double check. That seems rather amazing given how infrequently this car has been seen - really how could this one be missed in a public setting?? In a review of the service history I think most of that mileage was accrued earlier in its life.
