question about Revell classic chevy tooling
I've been out of modeling for some time. Then I saw that Revell released a kit of the 57 Black Widow, and I knew I had to build one. Could someone please tell me what other kits Revell has (or are planning to) offer based on this tooling? Kit numbers and or pictures of the box art would be very helpful. Thanks! Alan Griffin

Re: question about Revell classic chevy tooling
It started out as the Revell Monogram 1955 Chevy Bel Air convertible and the 1956 Nomad (I can't remember which one came out first). It then spawned the 1956 Del Ray, the 1955 Bel Air hardtop, the 1957 150 sedan/Black Widow and the 1957 Bel Air sedan.
I don't really have a list of the kit numbers. These kits are all in 1/25. Some come as California Wheels edition. The 1/24 Tri-Five Chevys are based on the 1/24 Monogram tooling. They are entirely different kits. |

There's a 57 convertible on the way soon.
