Ferrari SA Aperta

I started on a new build



Sanded and dry fittet the body parts

Put the body in its main color

masked everything of for the second color and sprayed that and cleared the whole thing


the other body parts recives the same treatment

And ofcoarse i vould not leave the other parts behind so i painted those aswell

Its called metallic racing green from zero paints, it whas the color of the bentley speed 8 a lemans race car

I got some more work done
Lets start off with the wheels
dechromed them and painted them gun metel

Hand painted the silver parts

Put the Ferrari logo's on

Cleared them

Painted the brakes

And finaly put it all together with the tires on

I also got some engine work done



Detaled the chassis and put the engine in






Some carbon work



Painted some parts of the dash and steering wheel


finaly i gave the roof a second color

Most excellent, Tom... and moving along at a cracking pace as well. Personally, I find the colour beautiful , but a little bit muted for a firebreathing topless Italian model, but each to their own, eh?

I'm watching this carefully for when I build my bargain-basement half-price one...
