Coaxial Cable for braided lines
Hey guys I've been reading up on the how to thread for this and I really want to try it but I have no idea what size or type of wire I need. I don't want to waste money buying multiple wires just to cut them up and waste them. Does anyone know what type to get?
They seem to be almost perfect for what we do. Also, does anyone know what happened to the search function? |

Re: Coaxial Cable for braided lines
26 GA works great for spark plug wires etc
For hoses, I use the round sewing elastic with the woven outer in various diameters and just paint it the color I need it to be.

Re: Coaxial Cable for braided lines
I use cheapo earplug/buds for phones, MP3 players etc.
I get the type that have clear sheathing and silver braiding inside. They cost £1 a set in our 'Poundland' shops so I buy 5 sets at a time. Enough braiding to last dozens of kits. The clear covering slides off easily leaving you with nice silicon hose, and the inside braided wire is great for aero hoses on the engine etc. My F40 engine has lots of both fitted.
