Revell Ferrari SA Aperta

Not really much to say about this one. It's a rush job that took me three months to build. In other words, no motivation and when I did work on it I rushed it. It's Revell's SA Aperta with Hobby Design wheels, otherwise out of the box. Painted with Tamiya TS-51, cleared and polished. Interior is Tamiya TS-8 covered with Gunze flat clear. The white piping is done with really thin strips of plastic (electrical type) tape. Hood decal is Hobby Design also.

I like your blue/white combo, and especially the fine white lines in the cockpit!

Re: Revell Ferrari SA Aperta

It's not only really cool, but a somewhat unexpected color combo. Great work Makes me want to dig my SA out and build...but I can't right now

Re: Revell Ferrari SA Aperta

Lovely work and a very shiny finish..!! Love the white piping on the seats, great idea to use the thin plastic strips as it's always difficult to try and paint them by hand..

Re: Revell Ferrari SA Aperta

Fantastic work! the paint & interior look great!

I'm a sucker for a Ferrari, but this one captures what all new Ferrari have, which is tailored and customized interiors and details, almost every car is individual, including bright colors, contrasting piping on the leather work, carbon-fiber and aluminum detailing!

Nice work! bravo!
