Suzuki RGV (89)
Start KH7 pickling the chassis or brake fluid, do not worry not damage the plastic.
![]() Once the chrome stripping, fill it with putty to dry and sand until a surface as thin as possible. ![]() Adjust the pieces to make sure the fit is perfect or afraid to fill the frame more. ![]() ![]() ![]() When we sanded the pieces clean it well with the help of an electric toothbrush. ![]() With the help of this putty I simulated a cord welding on the swingarm.

Re: Suzuki RGV (89)
This one I did for welding with Evergreen rebar
pressing with a flat screwdriver. ![]() ![]() ![]() Once this is done all the parts separated and prepared to receive a coat of primer. ![]() This is the technique I use to remove the paint pot without any unpleasant surprises. ![]() This is the result once primed, ready to be painted with bright black and then receive a coat of Alclad polished aluminum. ![]() I want to show as pinto exhaust, after glossy black enamel paint applied with a coat of Alclad Chrome let it dry and start to implement transparent colors, blue, orange, red, to achieve the desired tone. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When we have we can highlight tone painting with acrylic XF56 welds.

Re: Suzuki RGV (89)
Greetings again, I will explain the process of placing the decals, I personally moisten first part where you placed the decal with Microset, I place the decal in place and I carefully applying layers of Microsol, helping me a dryer hair on the decal applied heat until it is totally adapted to the surface.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() To adapt this decal had to trim the ends. ![]() ![]() Colin Decals broke down and I had to make other with decal from Studio 27. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The tank is mounted in the fairing to align the decals. ![]() Pieces in the drying process after receiving a generous layer of varnish.

Re: Suzuki RGV (89)
Really superb work on a bike that needs total detail added from scratch since there is not a set for it.
I have this one and hope I can get it to come out that good! |
