2000 Cargo: ONLY LR has plastic inner fender.

The RHS has NONE! And consequently is rusting away.

I can see no evidence of a RH plastic liner!

Did OE only put plastic on ONE SIDE????

This is nuts!

Re: 2000 Cargo: ONLY LR has plastic inner fender.

let me make sure i'm understanding your abbrv.

on both my '00 and '02 cargos there is only a plastic splash shield inside the fender to protect the fuel fill hose.

and becareful, while i do have rust on my '00's passenger rear panel, i also see bubbles appearing from underneath the paint on the '02's driver's side (where the plastic shield is).

Re: 2000 Cargo: ONLY LR has plastic inner fender.

OK, shielding the fuel filler hose pretty much explains it for me.

However, I have nearly no rust on the LHS and the RHS has very significant rust through where the wheel well seam is - about dead center in the transverse (along axle axis) direction.

Ohwell, while I'm waiting for my fuel pump and its on jackstands, its a perfect time to fix.

Still, they should have put plastic on both sides.

Thanks
Tom
