2 Wheel Drive

I'm considering buying a 2014 2-wheel drive Cherokee.
Can anyone share thoughts on this vehicle:

Are all the Cherokee's rear wheel drive?
Is maintenance lower than on a 4X ?
Gas mileage better than a 4X
General thoughts or experiences?

Re: 2 Wheel Drive

From the available info, it looks like this is FWD. Maintenance will always be less, there are fewer parts and mpg will always be better on 2WD. It won't be available till Fall of 2013 and it is not related to the old Cherokee except in name. Edmunds states that it is based on the new Dodge Dart platform.
