Best way to replace fuel lines 00 expy

My 00 expy dropped a driveshaft after the unjointed broke. It took out a section of both return and delivery fuel lines. Can these be repaired as in splicing in a new section or must I replace the whole line? What is the most economical way and place to get the parts?

Re: Best way to replace fuel lines 00 expy

Salvage yard is best bet. Ford can charge hundreds of dollars for individual lines depending on which ones they are. Because of the special bends, they usually aren't available in the original full length from auto part stores. I have spliced plastic fuel lines on cars including my 2005 Expedition using smaller pieces from auto part stores. But I'm still going to try and find a replacement at the junk yard. The splice does insert a smaller diameter passage into your line slightly decreasing flow. I only notice it when flooring it, but that is usually when you really need it. I have posted on how to splice in some post somewhere. So you could search on my posts to find it.
