Volkswagen Type 2 - Hasegawa 1:24

Hello,
this model I began in autumn 2010.
After the adventures of the damaged decals on the roof model came in the box for a long time.
I recently found it and decided to finish.

I lowered suspension, changed the wheels for AWC Steel Daytona from Aoshima and added tires from some fujimi set. Painted Gulf blue from Zero Paints and added Gulf racing decals.

interior and chassis

and some pics stylized HDR technique. I like this type of photos.

Beautiful vw bus. The gulf style suits it well. That rust on the bumper is so spot on. How did you create it, any tutorials?

I used several shades of enamel Tamiya and I put thick paint with brush tip with a stiff brush.

Excellent looking model!

Some pictures show a nice shiny finish which spoils a little the overall excellent weathering. Otherwise I really like it.
